RICHARD REES – PRESIDENT
Richard is an accomplished artist, concentrating mainly on paintings in oils or acrylic paint on canvas, ranging from landscapes, portraiture and abstract images.
He has held many positions in the Arts Council previously supporting the Creative Mountain Arts exhibitions and Dorrigo Show Art exhibitions and was heavily involved in the setting up of Gallery 2453 in November, 2016.

Sandra Pitkin – Vice-President
A sculptor, Sandra’s work is inspired by her interest in nature, science and the reciprocal connections between humanity and the living world, using natural forms to spark recognition and reflection in the viewer to consider how we live among the world. Since graduating BVA (hons.) at Sydney College of the Arts, Sandra has exhibited her work in many outdoor exhibitions and galleries. She has fulfilled numerous commissions, won several awards and her works are represented in private collections. She worked tirelessly to enable Gallery 2453 to remain open and profitable during its 18 months of operation.
Cathy Thomas – Treasurer
In seasons past, Cathy has contributed her accounting skills to the smooth running of the Creative Mountain Arts Exhibition and Dorrigo Show. She became the ACD Treasurer this year and has taken on the role of Public Officer.
Louise Bravery – Secretary
Louise is a painter, former President of the DVAG, and well-known as a librarian at the Dorrigo Library. She has often worked behind the scenes for the DVAG's Fine Arts exhibition at the Dorrigo Show, the CMAE, and Gallery 2453.
Shirley Freeman – Committee Member
In recent years, Shirley has concentrated on watercolours and pencils. Her latest adventure has been to draw and paint some of our amazingly colourful Australian birds to include in a colouring book for adults, published in December 2016. She's now working on a collection featuring Australian flora.
liz hutchisoN – COMMITTEE MEMBER
Liz joins the Committee with a wealth of experience from running her own Gallery in Dorrigo for several years to being the Convenor of the very successful Creative Mountain Art Exhibition in Dorrigo in 2018.
Liz creates unique jewellery and art clothing and has a wide range of artistic interests.
CHRISTINE MOORE – COMMITTEE MEMBER
Christine joins the Committee with experience in running a Gallery in Broken Hill and an intense interest in Art among her many talents and expertise.
She is currently the Chief Steward for the Art Exhibition at the Dorrigo Show 2018, having very successfully managed the exhibition in 2017.
